Sparring
We practise three (3) types of sparring:
five-step sparring, one-step sparring, and free sparring.
Free Sparring:
Free sparring is not done as often as five-step and one-step
sparring. Students are required to have sufficient control in
distance before sparring. In free sparring, almost all techniques
and target areas are permitted. We usually only do light free
sparring where power is reduced but not the speed.
